Aaron Sambey

I first picked up a camera when I was a teenager. It was a 1988 JVC shoulder-mounted video camera that took VHS tapes. This was 2004. I was immediately hooked. Being able to tell stories by pointing a camera at a subject was something that really resonated with me.

Since then, I’ve worked on projects ranging from feature length films and live concerts to commercials and music videos. Filmmaking has become an integral part of my being and I cannot envision a world where I am not behind a camera.

Along with directing and cinematography, I have been editing professionally since 2015.

I am also an avid photographer and self-proclaimed chef. I also have a YouTube channel where I talk about the psychology of photography!
